Turkey is looking to sign an agreement with Ethiopia that would allow for a liberalization of the visa regime, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu said Monday during a visit to Addis Ababa.

Davutoğlu met Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi during his visit to discuss bilateral economic relations; both reportedly agreed on the necessity to increase the number of mutual high-level visits. The Turkish foreign minister also updated Zenawi about Turkey’s activities in Africa.
