Dire Dawa – Dire Dawa City has beaten Mugher Cement 1-0 here yesterday in Week 25 of the Ethiopian Premier League (EPL) match.

Although the outcome of this match didn’t affect the two teams’ standings in the league, it helped Dire Dawa to move from the danger zone.

With 5 more matches to go, Dire Dawa finds itself in 10th place with 32 pts, but the team has to remain vigilant as Adama City is trailing right behind them, with just 3 points separating the two sides.

Week 26 of the EPL will continue this weekend. Since the Ethiopian national football play a friendly match against Sudan on Saturday in Addis, most of the EPL matches will take place on Sunday, with two more matches to be played on Monday, May 30.
