Management fall-out with labor union at Sheraton hotel, which had escalated to the level where the management has threatened to close down the hotel, has finally been resolved sources close to the matter said.

Abinet W/meskel, representative of the owner of the hotel together with the legal adviser Teka Asfaw, has successfully concluded the negotiation with union on Thursday. According to the agreement the labor union gave up it deep rooted question about salary increment, while the management also agreed to give up its claim on service charge income that was the major source of disagreement in the first place. At the time management members claimed to share the service charge income with other employees, which sparked a wide range of fallout between the two parties.

Owner of the hotel has to call Abinet, who was attending medical condition in London at the time, to put rest to the situation. Especially, after news about the general manager threatening to close down the hotel was out, Abinets involvement has bear fruit said sources.
