ETHIOPIA: PM Meles gets his assets registered by FEAC

Prime Minister Meles Zenawi has got his assets registered by the Federal Ethics and Anticorruption Commission.

In line with the assets disclosure and registration proclamation, the Premier got his assets registered on Wednesday at a formal procedure held at his office.

Speaking afterwards, Meles called on the public to contribute share in the implementation of plans designed to fight corruption.

He said the government is endeavoring to put into action five major plans it has designed to fight corruption.

Meles identified land administration, tax collection, government budget administration, high-scale government purchase and operations of the justice system as the five breeding grounds of corruption.

It is possible to fight corruption through modernizing the operations of those five sectors, he said.

In addition to Meles, Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives, Abadula Gemeda, Speaker of the House of Federation, Kassa Teklebirhan, and President of the Federal Supreme Couurt, Tegene Getaneh also got registered their assets registered on the occasion.

What a waste of time, the whole country belongs to him. What a jock, it is much easier to count what he is not owning in that country. Like it or not, directly or indirectly he is in charge of every single major wealth in that country. Let alone in Ethiopia, he is already owning millions of cameles in our colonial land, Somalia.

One knows that modern life seems to be not cheap, however different people require money for various issues and not every person gets big sums cash. Thus to receive fast loans or short term loan would be a correct way out.
