International Society of Ethiopian Economists under formation

The International Society of Ethiopian Economists is under formation and the organizing committee invites Ethiopian economists residing abroad to become membes and join the Society.

Information about the society, its objectives, membership criteria, and organization can be found at its official web site: EthiopianEconomists.org

An ad hoc committee has been working and sharing views with Ethiopian economists all over the world on the idea of establishing a professional society with the objective of advancing their knowledge of Economics and its application in Ethiopia. A ISEE draft constitution was prepared and distributed to fellow Ethiopian economists and other related professionals for comments and feedbacks.

The society will convene its inaugural assembly after consulting with as many Ethiopian economists as possible and after deliberating on the draft constitution.
