Ethiopia hunts a ’wanted’ foreign terror suspect

APA-Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) Ethiopia on Friday launched a national search for a foreign ’terrorist’ suspect.

The Ethiopian immigration authority on Friday evening showed the picture of the wanted ’terrorist’ suspect on television, asking for cooperation from the general public for the arrest of the man.

The man whose identity and nationality was not disclosed by the immigration authority, is said to be a white foreigner, according to the pictures shown on ETV Friday evening.

It shoulld be recalled that the Nigerian young man arrested in the USA while attempting to blow up a passenger plane a week ago was reported to have had a stop over in Ethiopia while travelling from Dubai to Ghana and later through Amsetrdam to the USA.

This is the first time that Ethiopia has launched such a man-hunt for the arrest of a foreigner ’wanted’ for terrorist activities.

The immigration authority did not however disclose how and when the man entered Ethiopia as well as for what purposes.
