Suspected Mum “Took Her Life” in Prison

A mother , who is said suspected of a manslaughter of her two-year old daughter was found dead in prison, here in London .
An Eritrean -born lady dubbed “AK”, was reportedly found dead in her cell while she was under investigation in connection with the death of her beloved toddler. Though there is no official report about the cause of “AK’s” death, unconfirmed sources said when the sad news about the death of her baby broke out then it took a twist and the police pointed their fingers at “AK” as the prime suspect. Then because of the tragedy and being under a lot of pressure, she was let down. It is suggested that she might have smashed her forehead, several times, against the prison wall in protest of the action taken against her. It caused lot of blood to flow in to her brain.

The late “AK”, 20s , was described as “ tough as teak and as gentle as a lamb. In loving memory of devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend ” said one close friend.The mother- of –two was remembered as one of the few hundreds of Ethiopians and Eritrean refugees and asylum seekers exiled from their homes by war and human rights violations in their respective countries. Four years ago, she crossed the Sahara Desert ,the largest desert in the world, by cars and on foot; then landed in United Kingdom , by crossing the Mediterranean sea on small boats .
