Hibir Commemorates Dereje Dubale

A monthly literary night is usually held every month at the Russian Science and Cultural Center’s Pushkin Theatre in Addis Ababa. Hibir, an association of mass media affiliates and literati calls the tune. Monday, 14 June, the association devoted a literary night to the commemoration of Dereje Dubale, an artiste who departed this life very recently.

Hibir Commemorates Musician Dereje DubaleAssociation members staged various artistic presentations in the presence of his admirers and family members.

Also, last Saturday the veteran journalist and writer Mamo Wudneh launched his fifty-third book and celebrated wedding Golden Jubilee same day at Hager Fikir Theatre.

The event was organized by Ethiopian Female Writers’ Association.
