The largest foreign investor in both Sweden and his native Ethiopia, he is currently expanding his African investments through the AIG Africa Infrastructure Fund. Lately, Al-Amoudi has been busy defending himself after being named a terrorist financier in the trillion-dollar lawsuit filed by the families of 9/11 victims. Through a spokesperson he denies ever having financed any terrorist efforts.
