Ethiopia petroleum import to rise by 13 % in coming yearsAPA-Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) Ethiopia’s petroleum import will rise by around 13 per cent in the coming years, forcing the country to spend annually around US$ 1.8 billion, the Ethiopian Petroleum Enterprise (EPE) said here on Friday. The Ethiopian Petroleum Enterprise said that the country imported around 2.8 billion litres (2.5 millions tons) of petroleum in the past 10 months, worth around US$ 1.4 billion.
