They, all will retire, the key question is what have they contributed so far???

Ethiopians have more than 3000 years old historical journey; and yet, they are the last undemocratized citizens in the world.

The historic moments are gone, knowing Ethiopian history is one basic thing and learning from the history is another key factor. So far, a lot of well-built things have been labelled to individuals, but pointing out our current political party leader’s few short-falls got to be the place where we start learning from our past.

• Wrt. Birtukan Mideksa: unnecessary speech to please the funding society (though that is not the only reason that put her under detention)

• PM Meles Zenawi: Fear to resign. (His reign will take 24 solid years, if he is willing to resign as he promised @ 2015 GC.)

• Ato Bereket Somon: Lack of good will. (eg. Speculations “his suggestion for VOA jamming and other communism consultancy to the PM”)

• Prof. Mesfin W/Mariam: Fear to take a leadership role as a decision maker. As we, all know professional lecture will not deliver us to anywhere; since the real politics is very different curriculum from that of university lecture.

• Prof. Beyene Petros: Fear to resign. He didn’t believe losing the parliament seat for the first time. For him, his seat has brought a lot of changes to the society.

• Dr. Merara Gudina: The other side of the coin to that of Prof. Beyene Petros.

• Dr. Negaso Gidada: Weak start as an oppositional party leader (eg. He has been admiring Lidetu, for a great speech before the election date.)

• Ato Siye Abreha: I guess he should have joined “Arena group”(Tigreans group), his political stand don’t match with “Andente groups”(former CUDP stand), he used to address his supporters that “he will not take a land out of Tigrians to and give it back to Amhara”.

• Ato Lidetu Ayalew: Stubborn nature. Don’t respect party decisions. Mainly destroyed the former CUDP by holding and make hostage of the party stamp against the coalition. And, considering Election 2010 as a smart move, he headed to where he was born to hold parliament seat.

• Ato Bulcha Demeksa: Criticizing the former CUDP for their landslide victory over finfine.

• Eng. Hailu Shawol: Stubborn nature as Lidetu., late resignation (due to many of his failurties), considering him self as a sole solution, etc.
Above all, Mr. Zenwi should be willing to take the role of De Klerk. Fredrik De Klerk has put an end of apartheid, South Africa's racial segregation policy, and supporting the transformation of South Africa into a multi-racial democracy by entering into the negotiations that resulted in all citizens, including the country's black majority, having equal voting and other rights.
